We are overjoyed to announce our partnership with Rogers Sports & Media’s All IN program to affirm and support LGBTQI2S youth. This Pride, Friends of Ruby has launched the #YouWillYouAre campaign to show LGBTQI2S youth that even in throws of a global pandemic, they have a community that supports them.
Everyone goes through periods of self-doubt and as adults, we all wish we could go back to give our younger selves a pep talk! We’d like to tell ourselves not to worry, to focus on what matters, to give ourselves a hug and say YOU are good enough.
Friends of Ruby is collecting stories from the LGBTQI2S community that illustrate the bright futures youth have ahead of them. The goal of this campaign is to raise awareness of the challenges faced by LGBTQI2S youth, and to inspire others to share their stories and affirmations.
During Pride, we will share inspiring stories and testimonials from various LGBTQI2S leaders in all sectors, to let youth know that they are not alone.

Rogers Sports & Media’s All IN program has dedicated $10 million in free advertising and creative services over five years to support equity-seeking charities. They are providing Friends of Ruby with an expansive platform to reach out to community members amplify our messages of hope. Their creative team is designing a powerfully uplifting campaign that will be presented across Rogers Sports & Media media megaphone.
The #YouWillYouAre campaign show LGBTQI2S youth that they have a community ready to support them. It will also promote the mental health, social and housing services we offer to support LGBTQI2S youth on their journey towards more validated, included, empowered, and healthier lives.
