The Ruby Gala was a fabulous event celebrating the uniqueness of all the 2SLGBTQIA+ youth in attendance, providing them with a glamorous Red-Carpet experience. 

Youth enjoyed a pre-event glam experience with local make-up artists, accessories, handbags, and clothing. Before entering the venue, youth took a walk down the red carpet where they could take part in the Virgin Plus Slay Station to commemorate their experience and share their joy with their friends.  

Once inside, youth enjoyed Ruby mocktails and light antipasti both sweet and savoury. There was dancing to a live DJ as well as the Blue Zen Relax Zone where youth could enjoy a bit of quiet time. Thanks to One Health Partners, a group of therapy dogs walked the Red-Carpet and then greeted the guests in Ruby’s Retreat room. 

It was a night like no other when every youth was able to feel accepted, celebrated, and seen.
