Friends of Ruby supports 2SLGBTQIA+ youth facing homelessness, mental health challenges, and systemic barriers to safety and belonging. Through shelter, social programming, grocery programs, case management, and therapeutic services, we provide life‑saving, affirming care to young people when they need it most. Our therapeutic services are also provided at no cost to reduce our barriers further!

Our services are for our community—BY our community.
- 90% of our staff and 100% of our leaders identify as 2SLGBTQIA+
- Nearly 50% of our staff are trans, non‑binary, or gender‑nonconforming
- 61% of our teams and 66% of leaders identify as Black, Indigenous and/or a Person of Colour
- 45% identify as neurodiverse
